The Emily Wilding Davison Building opened its doors in September 2017.
It sits in the heart of the university’s beautiful, leafy campus - complementing Royal Holloway’s iconic Founder’s Building. Founder's Square links the Grade I-listed building with the Davison Building, and provides a fantastic space for students, staff and visitors to relax and spend time in.
On Wednesday 18 October 2017, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Chancellor of the University of London formally opened the building, which was named in honour of one of Britain’s most famous suffragettes and Royal Holloway alumna, Emily Wilding Davison.
