Sociology is being established at Royal Holloway, University of London.
We are thrilled to be developing our research in a new Sociology Research Group. We are partnering with the world leading Geographers to create the newly formed Department of Geography and Sociology. Our research is across the full spectrum of Sociology, including theory and data; equalities and justice; violence and society; gender, sexuality, and race; public health and mental health; and religion.
Our new for 2027 entry Sociology BA hons degree within the Department of Geography and Sociology at Royal Holloway offers a varied sociology degree with excellent opportunities to develop specialist interests. This is in addition to the existing joint degrees in Sociology with other subjects. Delivered within one of the worlds’ leading centres for research and teaching, we are very proud of our research and teaching profile and supportive learning community.
