At the site of the Agora in central Athens students walked in the footsteps of Socrates, seeing places where Socrates was tried and executed. They reflected on the big questions that Socrates asked in the places that he asked them.

They visited the site of Plato's Academy, and the small museum devoted to Plato nearby, and considered some of the topics that Plato would have discussed in the that very place.

A visit to the site of the Lyceum, the home of Aristotle's school, completed the trip, a place described by the information at the site as 'one of the most significant places in the history of mankind'.
