Venue Details

The Techne summer Congress 2026 is being hosted by the University of Brighton at their Grand Parade Campus. 

On Day 1, the Registration Desk will be in the Sallis Benney Theater foyer. Attendees are required to register each day please at the Registration Desk to confirm their attendance. 

How to get to Grant Parade

Address: Grand Parade Main Building, 58-67 Grand Parade, Brighton, BN2 0JY.

Brighton is on the main line between London Clapham Junction and Brighton. Half-hourly train services run from Clapham junction but you may need to change at Haywards Heath or London Gatwick.

From the Train Station, the walk is approximately 15/20 minutes downhill (yes, uphill again to the train station at the end of the Congress!). 

Please be aware that, as part of our sustainability policy, neither air travel nor taxi fares are reclaimable as travel expenses.

This congress is all in one building over 2 floors with lift access.

Parking:

We would not recommend driving to Brighton because of the difficulty in parking and the cost of a parking space.
