The January 2026 TECHNE Congress will explore Beyond Boundaries: Creative Approaches to Research Across Domains. This theme offers a flexible and inclusive framework for showcasing the breadth and depth of TECHNE students’ research, while creating space for diverse formats, voices, and methodologies.

Inspired by TECHNE’s ethos of combining tradition with innovation, the Congress invites participants to reflect on how their research engages with ideas of shared identity, interdisciplinary practice, and collaboration across methods, media, and communities. Whether through creative-critical work, practice-based approaches, or experimental forms of knowledge-making, this Congress will celebrate the many ways TECHNE researchers are reimagining what research can be, and how it can be shared.
