One-to-one Careers Appointments

Confidential, one-to-one careers appointments with Liz, our Techne dedicated Careers Consultant, can be either 30 minutes or one hour long and can be held via telephone or Skype. You can discuss any aspect of career planning; for example:

  • developing a careers plan
  • making decisions about future career direction
  • advice on developing your CV
  • completing application forms
  • developing an online profile
  • approaching interviews (face to face, telephone, video etc.)
  • planning a strategy for a major career change

You can decide the length of appointment you think you need but, as a general rule, we would expect a CV/application review or interview discussion to be approximately 30 minutes, whilst mock interviews or career planning and decision making are likely to be one hour appointments.

We will also answer email queries but we work part-time so response may not be immediate.

One-to-one appointments will be available on the following dates (for Techne-funded students only):

  • 3rd May 2022
  • 18th May 2022
  • 21st June 2022
  • 27th June 2022
  • 4th July 2022
  • 20th July 2022

Please note that these appointments are only available for Techne students (with a limited number also open to Techne alumni). To book an appointment email techne.careers@careers.lon.ac.uk or call us on 0207 863 6008. If you would like an appointment but can't make any of the days listed above, please get in touch and alternative appointments can usually be made.
